Hello!
I’m Nic, a Level 4 Certified Nutrition Advisor and the face behind Nourished with Nic.
I live in Leeds with my husband and our two children. Our family are a busy, active crew; with football, jiu-jitsu, taekwondo and dance, and my husband and I both enjoy walking, running and weight training. This means I get the privilege of fuelling our active lives, busy schedules and growing bodies.
About four years ago I fell in love with weight training and now train three to four times per week. I also enjoy Pilates, huge long walks, running, reading, music, gardening and I’ve been shopping preloved and charity shops since I was a child, I love it! Chicago has my heart - it’s my second home, we lived there for five years and it’s where our son was born.
I love food. I love creating new recipes, cooking, shopping for food and the way food brings people together. I love that it nourishes our bodies, supports our energy, and helps us feel our best. Nutrition has been a long-standing interest of mine, for over 10 years it’s been more than a hobby, so eventually I took the leap and studied Nutrition for Weight Management and Athletic Performance, qualifying earlier this year. Since then, I’ve been helping people put nutrition into practice in a realistic, sustainable way.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve been navigating my own perimenopause journey. Despite having a strong foundation in health and nutrition, experiencing fluctuating hormones first hand and the impact on mood, sleep, energy, weight and overall wellbeing has deepened my understanding of how profoundly this stage of life can affect day-to-day living. It’s reinforced my desire to support other women, and the families walking alongside them, to feel nourished, supported and well during this transition.
My approach to nutrition is science-based, practical and compassionate. I believe eating well should fit life, not add pressure and I love helping people build confidence in their food choices, fuel their bodies appropriately and feel supported every step of the way.

As a Nutrition Advisor
I support active people, busy families, and women navigating perimenopause to build sustainable eating habits, improve energy and feel confident in their nutrition.
My approach is practical, science-based and realistic. I help my clients move away from all-or-nothing thinking and instead build patterns of eating that fit around work, training, family commitments and everything in between.
Through personalised meal guidance and flexible food choices, you’ll eat foods you enjoy while still working towards your goals; whether that’s fat loss, weight gain, supporting sport or maintaining energy and performance at work.
Nutrition shouldn’t feel restrictive or overwhelming. It should feel supportive, achievable, and nourishing.
Empowering Health Through Nutrition
Understanding Your Nutrition
I begin by building a clear picture of your current eating habits through food diary analysis and discussion. This allows me to understand how your nutrition supports your energy, health, training, work and daily life. From there, I provide personalised, evidence-based nutrition guidance focused on macronutrients, micronutrients and overall energy balance, helping you make informed food choices with confidence rather than confusion.

Practical Nutrition for real life
As a Nutrition Advisor, my focus is on creating nutrition strategies that fit around busy lives. I provide personalised meal options with clear, step-by-step recipes, along with practical shopping and planning guidance to make healthy eating easier and more sustainable. Rather than rigid plans or restriction, I help you build flexible routines that support long-term habits, enjoyment of food, and consistency.

Nutrition for Performance, Recovery and Growth
For active adults and families with sporty children, I offer tailored sports nutrition guidance to support training, performance and recovery. This includes understanding exercise energy demands, calculating energy requirements, and ensuring adequate nutrition for muscle repair, growth and day-to-day performance. I also help clients navigate supplements, interpret food labels, and understand what is genuinely useful versus what is unnecessary, so decisions are grounded in science rather than trends.

My Approach
My approach to nutrition is practical, personalised and supportive. Whether your goal is weight management, improved energy, fuelling athletic performance or supporting family nutrition, my aim is to make nutrition feel clear, achievable and aligned with real life, not overwhelming or restrictive.
